We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow professional to join our dynamic team. Initially starting as a Senior ServiceNow Administrator with coding capabilities, based on performance the candidate will transition into a Developer role. As a Senior ServiceNow Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining our ServiceNow environment, gradually taking on more development-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in ServiceNow administration, with a willingness to transition into a development role. The best Senior Admins in our staff are strong ServiceNow Developers that also enjoy admin duties.

Key Responsabilities:  

  • Manage and configure the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions within the ServiceNow platform.

  • Provide technical proactiveness and guidance by proposing enhancements and new features, ensuring best practices and standards are followed throughout the development and admin lifecycle.

  • Administer, configure, and customize ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Service Catalog.

  • Develop integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using APIs, web services, and integration tools.

  • Design and implement ServiceNow workflows, business rules, UI policies, and UI actions to automate processes and improve efficiency.

  • Perform platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements while ensuring system stability and reliability.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow applications, configurations, and integrations.

  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow instances, including monitoring performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions.

  • Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and industry best practices to continuously improve development processes and solutions.

  • Based on performance, willingness to Transition into a Developer role, taking on responsibilities for the design, development, and implementation of custom applications

Qualifications:  

  • Desirable Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow administration, with a focus on ITSM, ITOM, and platform management.

  • Experience working on custom apps within the ServiceNow environment will be highly valued.

  • Verifiable Experience with CMDB. Must be clearly specified in the resume.

  • Willingness to start off as a Senior Admin with some coding task and then, based on performance move to a full-time Service Now Developer.

  • Experience using the ServiceNow Workspace module will be fundamental.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification preferred.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS for ServiceNow development.

  • Extensive experience with ServiceNow scripting (Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Scripts, etc.).

  • Understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, security model, and platform capabilities.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and configuring ServiceNow instances.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Outgoing personality with a proactive attitude to continuously propose enhancements, features and deconstruct requirements.

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
